HC Deb 04 August 1882 vol 273 c753
SIR WALTER B. BARTTELOT

asked the Prime Minister, Whether means have been taken to prevent private communication between any one in this country and Arabi Pasha? He had put the Question on Tuesday, and the Prime Minister had then said that he would be prepared to answer it in a day or two. If the right hon. Gentleman was not prepared to do so now, he would put it on the Paper.

MR. GLADSTONE

That will be the better way.
