§ MR. BELLINGHAMasked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, If he would have any objection to lay upon the Table of the House a Return, giving the names and occupations of all persons arrested for or convicted of having taken part in nocturnal attacks between the months of June 1880 and June 1882, with a view of ascertaining how many, if any, Militia men have been implicated in them?
§ MR. TREVELYANSir, I have no objection to letting the hon. Member have this Return if he thinks fit to move for it; but I doubt if it would be of much practical use, and I also doubt if it can be prepared and presented before the Adjournment.
