HC Deb 24 April 1882 vol 268 c1272
MR. HEALY

asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, Whether his attention has been called to a letter in to-day's Pall Mall Gazette, signed "Arnold Forster," maintaining that there is no distinction between the members of the Land League and the Fenians; whether it is a fact that the principal members of the executive are now in prison; and, whether it is usual to allow persons confined under the Protection of Person and Property Act to write letters to newspapers on political matters?

MR. W. E. FORSTER

The hon. Member should give Notice of his Question; but I do not think I am bound to answer such Questions at all.
