§ LORD FREDERICK CAVENDISHThe Board of Inland Revenue intend to instruct their officers not to interfere with the sale of intoxicating liquors in the cases mentioned by the hon. Member pending confirmation of the licences at Quarter Sessions upon deposit being made of the proper amount of licence 1333 duty. This course has been approved by the Lord Lieutenant, and will be pursued in all similar cases in future, so that it will no longer be necessary to apply to the Lord Lieutenant for his ad interim authority.
