§ SIR HENRY TYLERasked the Secretary of State for War, To produce all the telegrams from the 4th December, 1880, to the 27th February, 1881, between Her Majesty's Government and the late Sir George Colley, relating to the Military operations that had then taken place?
§ MR. CHILDERSIn reply to the hon. Gentleman, I have to state that it 1953 is unusual to produce telegrams between the War Office and Commanders abroad on military operations, most of which, from their very nature, are confidential, except such as are included by the Colonial Office in Papers presented to Parliament about the Colonies where such operations are conducted.
