asked the President of the Board of Trade, Whether the Board of Trade contemplate the appointment of a paid Chairman to the Commissioners of Irish Lights, or whether any proposal to that effect has been received by the Board of Trade?

MR. CHAMBERLAIN

, in reply, said, that no such proposal had been made to the Board of Trade. The Board did not contemplate any change in the existing arrangements.
