PAGETasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies, If he will be good enough to endeavour to obtain from each of our Colonial Dependencies an annual Return of Agricultural Statistics, in as complete a form as possible, in order that they may be referred to the Department of Agriculture (about to be created), and be published by that Department; and, if he will request all Governors of Colonies to send from time to time Reports on the Agriculture of their respective Colonies, with the view of the speedy publication of such Reports by the Department of Agriculture?
MR. GRANT DUFFSir, most of the principal agricultural Colonies already supply the kind of information for which my hon. Friend asks in great detail, and if he will communicate with me, I dare say we could arrange to get a good deal more information than we already have.
