asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, Whether he has as yet, and, if not, then when he is likely to come to a decision as to the best mode of diminishing the waste of judicial power, and the great inconvenience caused to jurors and others by the present system of holding four assizes?

, in reply, said, that he had consulted with the Judges on the subject, and hoped shortly to introduce a short Bill by which the end desired by the hon. Member might be accomplished.
