§ SIR MICHAEL HICKS-BEACHI am anxious to ask the Secretary of State for India a Question with respect to a telegram which I am informed has been received from South Africa. I understand that that telegram is to the effect that communications are now passing between Sir George Colley and the Boers at Laing's Neck. The telegram is dated from Dunbar, and I wish to ask the noble Lord, If he can give us any information as to the contents or nature of the communications?
