HC Deb 07 February 1881 vol 258 c266
THE O'DONOGHUE

I wish to ask the right hon. Gentleman the Prime Minister a Question, of which I have not given him private Notice, but which he will, doubtless, be able to answer. It is this—Whether he intends before Easter to introduce his Irish Land Bill?

MR. GLADSTONE

Most certainly; and, I hope, at a comparatively very early day.

MR. CALLAN

asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, When the Report of the Land Commission and the Evidence taken before the Bessborough Commission would be in the hands of Members?

MR. W. E. FORSTER

As I am not Chairman of the Commission, I am unable to answer the Question.

MR. CALLAN

Perhaps the right hon. Gentleman will state which Department of the Government is responsible?

MR. W. E. FORSTER

I must ask the hon. Member to put his Question on the Paper.
