asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, Whether he has had any communication with Colonel King Harman in relation to the arrest of Mr. Bernard M'Hugh, now detained in Kilmainham, Dublin?

, in reply, said, he had made the best inquiries he could; and he was not aware that his right hon. Friend the Chief Secretary for Ireland had had any communication with Colonel King-Harman on the subject.
