§ MR. T. P. O'CONNORasked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, Whether it is the fact that Cuiltibo National School, county Mayo, was built on a grant from the National Board of Education; whether it was vested in Trustees; whether these Trustees are still living; and, if not, why other Trustees have not been appointed; and, whether he can state why the above-named school has been kept closed for a period of three months?
§ MR. W. E. FORSTER, in reply, said, the National Board of Education vested this school in Trustees. One was alive, and was said to be at present living in Australia. The Commissioners of National Education informed him that they had received complaints that the manager closed the school because the tenants did not pay their rents. They had written to the manager asking what statement he had to make.
