MR. O'CONNOR POWERasked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, If any progress has been made in the preliminary arrangements for the construction of a bridge across the Moy at Cloonacana, county Mayo; or if any informality in the presentment has been discovered; and, if so, who is responsible for the informality, and how it may be remedied?
§ MR. W. E. FORSTER, in reply, said, he could not inform the hon. Member what arrangements had been made for the construction of the bridge; but, owing to an informality, for which the Grand Jury was responsible, it would be necessary to have a new presentment at next Assizes; and the Board of Works had forwarded a proper form for making the presentment.
