asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, Whether, in conformity with the general feeling expressed by the House in the late Debate, Her Majesty's Government will award the same amount of Compensation to Edmund Galley as was awarded to Habron on a former occasion?

, in reply, said, that, in accordance with the undertaking which he gave the other day, he had put himself in communication with the Treasury on this subject, and he hoped to be able to let the hon. Member know the result in a day or two.
