§ MR. MUNDELLASir, no change has been made in the regulations of the Education Department with respect to the recognition of the Tonic Sol Fa method of instruction in singing; but it is contemplated that in case the regulation in the Code which was laid on the Table in March last should come into force, the full grant will only be paid on those scholars who can read the ordinary notation.
