§ MR. ARTHUR PEEL,in reply, said, that the question of the removal of the 529 prison of Newcastle-upon-Tyne was now under the consideration of the Secretary of State. Any representation from the authorities of the town or other persons interested in the matter would receive the most careful consideration.
