HC Deb 24 May 1880 vol 252 c323
MR. ALDERMAN M'ARTHUR

asked the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Whether the Government will lay upon the Table of the House the remaining portion of Sir Thomas Wade's Report on the Chefoo Convention, and any correspondence they may have had on the subject with our own authorities, and also with the Chinese Government?

SIR CHARLES W. DILKE

Sir, the remaining portion of Sir Thomas Wade's Report has not yet been received, and the recent Correspondence upon the subject is of too incomplete a character to be presented to Parliament at present.
