HC Deb 29 June 1880 vol 253 c1118
SIR STAFFORD NORTHCOTE

I beg to give Notice that when the Prime Minister makes the Motion of which he gave Notice last night, I shall move, as an Amendment— That this House cannot adopt a Resolution which virtually rescinds the Resolution passed by it on the 22nd day of June last.

MR. GORST

gave Notice that before the Prime Minister should move his Resolution on Mr. Bradlaugh's case, he would put it to the Speaker as a Question of Order, Whether such a Resolution can be put to the House, as raising substantially the same question as one on which the judgment of the House has been already expressed in the current Session?
