§ COLONEL COLTHURSTasked the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Whether Her Majesty's Government have received any information as to the alleged infractions of Article 27 of the Treaty of Berlin in the case of the Roman Catholic inhabitants of Antuari, a district ceded to Montenegro by the above Treaty; that the said Roman Catholics have been ordered to send their children to a school taught by a Greek; that permission to open a church recently constructed has been withheld from them; and, if these allegations prove to be correct, will not Her Majesty's Government use its influence to obtain the fulfilment of the conditions upon which the said territory was ceded to Montenegro?
§ SIR CHARLES W. DILKENo information has reached Her Majesty's Government with regard to the alleged treatment of Roman Catholics in any of the districts ceded to Montenegro; but Her Majesty's Charge d'Affaires will be instructed to report on the subject.
