BRYCEasked the Vice President of the Council, Whether the Education Department has yet received from the Charity Commission the new Scheme for the administration of Dulwich College; and, if not, whether the Government, considering the great injury to this important foundation which the continuance of the present state of uncertainty involves, will take steps to accelerate the action of the Charity Commissioners?
§ MR. MUNDELLASir, in reply to the hon. Member's Question, I have to say that the Education Department have 201 not yet received from the Charity Commission the new Scheme for the administration of Dulwich College. But I am informed by the Commissioners that the Scheme has been revised throughout, and is now in the printers' hands in the form in which, subject to a reference to the Governors upon one point, it is proposed to submit it to the Committee of Council on Education. As soon as we receive it, it shall be promptly considered and dealt with.
