§ SIR CHARLES W. DILKEInformation has been received that the person referred to in the hon. Member's Question has been arrested. The Petition which he presented to the Commission was couched in very violent language against the Egyptian Government, and was in consequence returned to the writer. In these circumstances, Her Majesty's Government have no intention of protesting against the action of the Egyptian Government in the matter. We have no information that any other arrests have been made.
