HC Deb 16 February 1880 vol 250 c685
SIR THOMAS M'CLURE

asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland, Whether it is the intention of Her Majesty's Government to bring in a Bill to amend the Law relating to Grand Juries and Presentment Sessions in Ireland?

MR. J. LOWTHER,

in reply, said, that the serious demand which the Government was obliged to make on the time of Parliament as to other matters of great urgency rendered it impossible for them to introduce this Session such a measure as was referred to in the Question.
