§ SIR CHARLES W. DILKEasked the Secretary of State for the Home De- 508 partment, Whether he proposes to take action on the Report of the Municipal Corporations Commission?
MR. ASSHETON CROSS,in reply, said, that he had only had the Report in his hands a week before Parliament reassembled; and, therefore, he had not had time to study it with the evidence. The Commission had bestowed pains upon this inquiry; and, no doubt, their more material recommendations would deserve considerable attention.
