MR. RAIKES

explained that it was intended to legalize in the case of Provisional Orders the same regulations as to the taxation of costs which had long been established in the case of Private Bills. He therefore moved that the Bill should be read a second time.

Motion made, and Question proposed, "That the Bill be now read a second time."—(Mr. Raikes.)
