§ LORD GEORGE HAMILTON, in reply, said, the second reading of the Medical Act Amendment Bill, and the Motion for a Select Committee on the same subject, were both blocked by Amendments standing in the names of hon. Gentlemen opposite; and unless the right hon. Gentleman could prevail on his hon. Friends to withdraw their Notices, there was no immediate prospect of his being able to proceed with the Bill or the Motion.
