MR. W. E. FORSTER

AS regards the Business for Monday next, Will the Chancellor of the Exchequer inform the House whether it is understood that the Committee of Ways and Means, as stated yesterday, will be taken as the first Order?

SIR WALTER B. BARTTELOT

Before the right hon. Gentleman answers that Question, I wish to ask him whether he intends to have a Morning Sitting on Tuesday, and whether he proposes to take the Valuation Bill on that day?

THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUER

We intend to take the Committee of Ways and Means as the first Order on Monday, and we propose to ask the House to sit at 2 o'clock on Tuesday in order to take the Valuation Bill.

MR. DILLWYN

said, he still intended to oppose the Motion for a Morning Sitting.
