Resolution [4th March] read; That a number of Land Forces, not exceeding 135,625, all ranks, be maintained for the Service of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, at Home and Abroad, excluding Her Majesty's Indian Possessions, during the year ending on the 31st day of March 1880. On Motion of Mr. Secretary STANLEY, Bill to continue for three months the Act of the Session of the forty-first and forty-second years of the reign of Her present Majesty, chapter ten, intituled "An Act for punishing Mutiny and Desertion, and for the better payment of the Army and their quarters," ordered to be brought in by Mr. Secretary STANLEY, The JUDGE ADVOCATE, and Colonel LOYD LINDSAY.
