§ MR. BATESasked the President of the Board of Trade, If he will cause to be laid upon the Table of the House Copies of the Correspondence between Messrs. Luscombe, Bellamy, and Co. of Plymouth and the Board of Trade in 1876, on the subject of the foreign steamers calling there?
§ MR. J. G. TALBOTSir, in answer to my hon. Friend, I beg to say that we do not consider the Correspondence between Messrs. Luscombe, Bellamy, and Co. and the Board of Trade of sufficient public importance to justify our laying it upon the Table of the House; but we shall be happy to show that Correspondence to my hon. Friend or anyone else who may take an interest in it, if he will be good enough to call at the Board of Trade.
