HC Deb 23 June 1879 vol 247 c436

asked the Secretary to the Treasury, When he proposes to give effect to his recent statement, that part of the expenses of the Charity Commission are to be forthwith defrayed by the charities under the jurisdiction of the Commissioners, and if Papers in relation to this matter are to be presented to the House?

, in reply, said, he mentioned on a former occasion that some delay would take place; but, in concert with the First Commissioner, he had re-considered the arrangement then proposed, and he hoped in a few days to place before the House a Bill carrying out the recommendations now agreed to.
