MR. GOSCHEN

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies, Whether he will lay upon the Table of the House a Copy of the Report of Mr. W. Coates Palgrave, Special Commissioner to the Tribes north of the Orange River, of his mission to Damaraland and Great No-maynaland in 1876, presented to both Houses of the Cape Parliament, by command of His Excellency the Governor, in 1877?

SIR MICHAEL HICKS-BEACH

, in reply, said, he could not lay the Report on the Table; it was made between two and three years ago to the Cape Government, and he had no copy of it.

MR. GOSCHEN

asked, Whether the right hon. Gentleman would not under- take to procure a copy, as the subject was very interesting?

said, he would try to procure a copy.
