HC Deb 19 June 1879 vol 247 c179
MR. VANS AGNEW

asked Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer, Whether, considering the Second Reading of the Hypothec Abolition (Scotland) Bill was carried by a majority of 127, and that the Scottish Members voted in the proportion of forty-seven to two in favour of the measure, and that it was supported by the Lord Advocate, he will give facilities for the further progress of the Bill?

THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUER

It is quite impossible for me to give any facilities.
