HC Deb 12 June 1879 vol 246 c1706
MR. HANBURY TRACY

asked the Postmaster General, If it is still the intention of the Government to introduce a Bill to deal with the Law of Copyright; and, if so, if he can state when he will be prepared to submit it to the House?

LORD JOHN MANNERS

, in reply, said, he hoped to be able during the Session to bring in a Bill on the subject of the Law of Copyright, not with any hope of passing it; but in order that it might be circulated in the Colonies, which would be affected by any change.
