HC Deb 12 June 1879 vol 246 cc1720-1
MR. ERRINGTON

asked the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Whether there is any reason to apprehend that, as stated in the "Times" Paris Correspondence of June the 11th, that the French Government intend to follow up the partial demonetisation of silver in the Island of La Réunion, by demonetising it "on a vast scale" in Trance and other portions of the French dominions?

MR. BOURKE

we have heard nothing at all from the French Government on the subject.
