THE ATTORNEY GENERAL (Sir JOHN HOLKER) moved, That the Chairman be directed to move the House, that leave he given to bring in a Bill to consolidate the Law relating to the distilling, rectifying, or compounding, and dealing in or retailing spirits.

inquired the nature of this Bill?

THE ATTORNEY GENERAL (Sir JOHN HOLKER)

said, that the Bill did not alter the law in the least degree. It simply consolidated the Act which related to the distillation, rectification, compounding, and dealing in spirits.
