asked the House to resolve itself into a Committee of Supply, in order that some small progress might be made in the Estimates. He believed the Notices on the Paper did not lead to any contentious matter; and he would remind the House that, at that time of the year, it was almost absolutely necessary, in the interests of the Public Service, that they should lose no opportunity they could possibly obtain of advancing Supply.
