asked Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer, Whether, before the Supplementary Vote for the Zulu War, &c., is asked for, any Correspondence will be laid upon the Table of the House showing the history and present state of discussion between the Home Government and that of the Cape Colony, or with the Transvaal, as to their money claims on the English Government?

Sir, some Papers are being prepared, and will be laid on the Table very shortly, with regard to communications between the Home Government and the Government of the Cape as to financial questions between them.
