HC Deb 21 July 1879 vol 248 c851
MR. ROWLEY HILL

asked the First Commissioner of Works, What progress is being made with the Ordnance Survey of England and Wales on the 25-inch scale; and, when the survey of the county of Worcester is likely to be commenced?

MR. GERARD NOEL

Satisfactory progress is being made with the Ordnance Survey of England and Wales on the 25-inch scale. Eighteen counties have been surveyed, rapid progress is being made with 13 others, and six counties have been partially surveyed. With regard to the county of Worcester, I fear some little time must elapse before the survey of that county can be commenced.
