MR. ROWLEY HILLasked the First Commissioner of Works, What progress is being made with the Ordnance Survey of England and Wales on the 25-inch scale; and, when the survey of the county of Worcester is likely to be commenced?
§ MR. GERARD NOELSatisfactory progress is being made with the Ordnance Survey of England and Wales on the 25-inch scale. Eighteen counties have been surveyed, rapid progress is being made with 13 others, and six counties have been partially surveyed. With regard to the county of Worcester, I fear some little time must elapse before the survey of that county can be commenced.
