In reply to Mr. HANKEY and Mr. FAWOETT,

THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUER

said, that the second reading of the Bankruptcy Law Amendment Bill would be proposed that night, and it was intended to at once go into Committee pro formâ, in order that the Bill might be re-printed with the alterations. The University Education (Ireland) Bill would be taken as the first Order on Thursday. The Public Works Loans Bill would be proceeded with as the first Order on Wednesday next. To-morrow, after the question of Privilege had been disposed of, a stage of the Army Discipline and Regulation (Commencement) Bill would be taken, and then they proposed to take the Banking and Joint Stock Companies Bill. The East Indian Loans Bill would be proceeded with on Friday.
