HC Deb 18 July 1879 vol 248 c753
MR. BIGGAR

asked Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer, Whether, previous to the forthcoming discussion of the Navy Estimates, he has any objection to the iron model (18 inches by 10 inches) being exhibited, showing the actual construction of the "Warrior," together with the particulars thereunto appended, so that Members may have an opportunity of inspecting the same?

MR. W. H. SMITH,

in reply, said, he was not aware whether there was such a model, with the particulars mentioned; but there were several models in the Museum at Greenwich Hospital, which was open to the inspection of Members, to whom every facility would be afforded for seeing them. It would not be convenient to remove the models from a place where they were a constant object of study.
