§ THE LORD ADVOCATE (Mr. WATSON)Sir, I propose to ask the leave of the House to withdraw the Poor Law (Scotland) Bill, and to introduce in lieu of it a short measure containing those five clauses which deal with medical relief and the superannuation of poor- 633 house officials. I propose, also, by leave of the House, to withdraw the Valuation Bill.
