asked Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer, Whether he will be prepared to recommend that among the members of the Royal Commission about to be appointed to inquire into the condition of Agriculture, one member at least should be a skilled trader in Foreign grain?

Sir, as the composition of this Commission is under the consideration of the Government, I cannot answer the Question of my hon. Friend precisely; but I can assure him that his suggestion, and others that may be made, shall have the careful consideration of the Government.
