§ COLONEL STANLEYSir, it is true that the Militia of the United Kingdom are to be called out for 20 days' training this year instead of 27, the usual time, and that it is also intended to curtail the period for Yeomanry training. I can hardly, within the limits of an answer, give details of the reason for the alteration; but I hope an opportunity will soon offer for the statement of my reasons for the curtailment.
