§ MR. DILLWYNasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, If he can now state whether it is the intention of Government to introduce a Bill to amend the Lunacy Law during the present Session of Parliament?
MR. ASSHETON CROSS, in reply, said, that the subject of the consolidation of the Lunacy Law was one which, in the opinion of the Government, ought to be taken up. There were other points of law requiring careful consideration, and probably they might be 1309 dealt with at the same time. He would put himself in communication with the Commissioners on the subject.
