HC Deb 28 April 1879 vol 245 c1247
MR. C. BECKETT-DENISON

asked the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, What arrangements have been come to by the signatory Powers to the Treaty of Berlin for the due execution of the Treaty as regards Eastern Boumelia and the military occupation of the Balkan Passes by Turkish troops?

THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUER

I am afraid I cannot conveniently answer my hon. Friend's Question. Negotiations are still going on between the Powers on the subject, and there is a general and universal agreement to promote the due execution of the Treaty.
