asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, Whether it is the intention of the Government to introduce during this Session a Bill for the continuance of the Ballot Act, which expires at the end of next year?

MR. ASSHETON CROSS

, in reply, said, that as the Ballot Act would not expire until the 31st of December, 1880, it would not be necessary to deal with it during the present Session.
