§ MR. PEASEasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, Whether he proposed to bring in a Bill during this Session in relation to Police Superannuation, or to take any other step in the matter?
MR. ASSHETON CROSS, in reply, said, the question was one well worthy of consideration, and was certainly not being lost sight of. He had been in communication with the Treasury upon 204 the matter; but he did not know, looking at the state of Public Business, whether he should be able to legislate on the subject this Session; but he would take the earliest opportunity of introducing a Bill on the subject.
