ASSHETON CROSS,in reply, said, that 956 circulars had been sent out; 976 but the Department had to write twice and sometimes five times before getting an answer, and some of the answers had to be sent back again for revision. But though the Returns relating to licensed houses were not yet complete, he hoped they would be shortly in the hands of hon. Members.
