§ MR. BOURKESir, we have heard that the Russian authorities have placed themselves in communication with the Danube Commissioners with the view of having the obstruction removed from the Sulina branch of the Danube. The obstruction was placed there some months ago. Her Majesty's Government have not yet heard whether the works have been commenced, nor whether any progress had been made at all in that direction.
