§ THE ATTORNEY GENERAL FOR IRELAND (Mr. GIBSON)Sir, having regard to the present position of Public Business, I am unable to fix the precise date when I expect to take the second reading of this Bill. I will take it on the first opportunity; but I may add, for the convenience of hon. Members who are interested in the subject, that I do not expect it will come on during the coming week, and, therefore, I shall not attempt to take it before Monday, the 8th July.
