HC Deb 26 July 1878 vol 242 cc450-1
MR. ASSHETON CROSS

fixed the Committee on the Bill for Monday next.

MR. J. COWEN

objected to the Bill being put down for Monday, when the right hon. Gentleman must know it could not be taken. It had already been put down on at least a dozen days when it could not be taken.

MR. ASSHETON CROSS

said, he knew very well the Bill could not be taken on Monday, and he only put it down as a matter of form.

Committee deferred till Monday next.

The House suspended its Sitting at five minutes to Seven of the clock.

The House resumed its Sitting at Nine of the clock..
